Riccardo Ippolito was born on the 23rd of December 1986 in Turin, Italy.
He has always been passionate about visual communication and art.
He studied photography in high school and Design & Visual Communication at university.
Always been in love with spray-art he first approached this art in 1998 with some illegal experiences.
In 2003 he officially became a writer with the nickname MEGA and his first artworks were only lettering pieces.
In 2008, after a 6 month work-experience in Tunisia, his friends called him SAID (that means HAPPY).
He loved this name so much that decided to change his nickname in RICKY SAID.
After some years of graffiti writing his style has shifted from the letters to a figurative art.
His surreal art is made up of lights, animals, nature, music and psychedelic.
